這次搞笑情侶檔Peggy & William回來波士頓探親，剛好遇上每年一次的Lilac Sunday。基本上就是遇到紫丁香大盛開以及難得的可以在這個植物園裡面野餐，而且園內還有餐車喔。（平常是禁止食物入內）

很不巧的是，今年本大娘莫名其妙花粉症突然爆開！這是個美國很多當地人會犯的毛病，很多搬來這邊住的外地移民，也會在第七年左右開始過敏。去年跟前年都沒有過敏症狀的本大娘本來還在那邊覺得自己一定不是過敏體質，搖擺到一個不行，沒想到今年居然來個大爆發。。。

看來統計數據應該是平均值七年，標準差兩到三年。。。本大娘就是在統計圖上那邊比較邊邊角角的人。。。加上今年波士頓冬天莫名其妙的長，一結束就百花齊開，所有花粉一起來。又剛好搭上風大以及沒有下雨的春天，花粉們很吊兒鋃鐺的在空中大紛飛，導致今年過敏人數劇增，本大娘也趕上這波新潮流。。。每宋～～～流鼻涕，眼睛流淚，鼻子眼睛癢，耳壓走樣全部一起來真的很不好玩說。

去超市買成藥的時候，看到被掃光的過敏分類架，也可以很清楚的感受到有多少人受到花粉症之苦。

但一年一度的Lilac Sunday怎麼能錯過了，所以帶著搞不好以毒攻毒的心理，以及淚眼汪汪鼻涕直流的愛哭臉，還是決定勇敢踏進 The Arnold Arboretum！

去之前剛好在路上遇到車庫清倉大拍賣，小小晃了一下～～～～

這個植物園面積很大，要好好散步全部逛完，半天一定跑不掉。

老實說真的很漂亮。但是當大家都在欣賞美麗花朵的同時，本大娘能看到的都是空氣中飄飄然的黃色花粉。

人超好的Peggy還不停拿花朵在本大娘的鼻子前面晃啊晃。

不知道的人大概會以為本大娘被百花齊放的風景深深感動而忍不住大哭。

下次有機會一定要回來再好好的走一遭！但這邊先推薦給大家這個免費入場的植物園～期待明年的Lilac Sunday！

By subway

Take the MBTA Orange Line to its southern end – Forest Hills. Turn left as you pass through the turnstiles. Exit through the door marked “Arnold Arboretum.” Proceed about 60 feet, then turn left and continue parallel to the Arborway (which is elevated above the bus stop). Continue walking along the Arborway, up the hill and to the Arboretum’s Forest Hills gate on your left. To reach the Arboretum’s main entrance and the Hunnewell Building, continue along the Arborway to the main gate (about 10 minutes).

By bus

Take the #39 bus to the South Street and Custer Avenue stop in Jamaica Plain (just after the monument stop). Walk back a few feet to the intersection and turn left on Custer Street. At the end of Custer Street (three blocks) you’ll be facing the Arboretum. Turn right and proceed to the pedestrian crossing. After the crossing, turn right. The Arboretum’s main gate will be 10 yards ahead, on the left.
